I feel like I had been sent to outer Mongolia, 12 days without
contact to the outside world!
The internet totally cut out, nothing would rectify the problem.
My fabulous grandson checked and tried everything inside
and out. We thought of having to replace the computer.
This evening I switched it on again and, hey presto! everything
worked in tip top order!
Whatever he had done, had fixed it after all.
Just the pictures loaded in the wrong order.
Just a few roses from another lifetime in my garden.
I guess you have noticed by now that roses, especially scented roses,
are very dear to my heart.
When you have roses in your heart, how can you help smiling?
Thanks for all the kind folks at TODAY's Flowers for
this flower filled meme.
Glad you got it working again--hard to live without a computer. Beautiful roses-makes me wish Spring would hurry and get here. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteThey were roses from another time. It has been too hot and dry for my roses to flower. I just hope they survive.
DeleteHi Arija, thanks for sharing these beautiful roses today. I am so glad you are now back on line, that must have been so frustrating!
ReplyDeleteFunny how reliant we have become on the internet in such a short space of time. However did we manage without them or the telephone let alone mobiles as well as vacuum cleaners, washing machines, refrigerators and electricity?
Deletejust beautiful. as is your sentiment for holding them in your heart. glad you are back on the web!
ReplyDeleteThanks Theresa.
DeleteYour roses always make me smile. I love the smell.
ReplyDeleteWas in a store yesterday and saw Orchids which make me think of you.
Hope all is well especially now that you have internet again.
I'm so glad to hear from you again. I was wondering how you were doing. Fragrant roses put a smile on my face, too.
ReplyDeleteGlad the computer problems are fixed! Good to see you back and your roses are gorgeous! I, too, love your sentiment for holding them in your heart!! Hope your weekend is going well, Arija!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you..hugs...
ReplyDeleteThe Internet, computers, what on earth did we ever do before them, and now that we appreciate their existence, it would sure be nice, if they worked when we wanted them too. I am glad that you are back on and these images are gorgeous Roses, love those colours~
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend dear heart~
The roses are very beautiful. I'm sorry about your computer issues but am glad it's back up.
ReplyDeleteExquisite pictures. I love roses,so these are right for me. The second picture, especially is stunning.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you back in time for the Australia Day long weekend, and that the weather is kinder for us all. I love roses too, the deep red Papa Milan being my favourite - the fragrance is just beautiful. The scent is very healing, heady and relaxing - begs to be breathed in deeply.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely of your grandson to be so helpful Arija - he is a gem.
12 days without internet--that is terrible! i'm glad you're back on line.:p
ReplyDeleteyour roses are beautiful, i tried planting roses but i haven't been successful. i bought live ones but they all eventually died.:( the second image is my favorite--kissed my sunshine.
yellow creeper
The scons image is my favourite!! I love the way the sun is kissing the petals of that rose!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful roses! It will be a while before we see them blooming again. Perhaps the internet problem was at the other end of the wires, not at your house.
ReplyDeleteThe problem was definitely in the computer, it did not even show the wireless icon. I have separate internet from my daughter's family and my computer would not log on there either. Thank God for grandchildren who understand these modern gadgets.
DeleteWonderful roses.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased your computer's back on track Arija .... the top rose is exquisite with its pearly peach tonings.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back - you were missed! Hope you're feeling well.
ReplyDeleteHow I would love to enjoy these flowers with you Arija. So glad you got your internet back. It can be so frustrating.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous rose shots!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me happy just to look at your pictures! Beautiful. Thank goodness for your talented grandson. Computers, I swear, you can't live with them and you can't live without them!!
