The night before last, the full moon rose as a majestic
golden ball
with clouds about,
it was now you see it, now you don't
yet even with obscuring clouds,
it glowed like a pumpkin in the sky.
When your heart beats like an erratic kettle drum, it is not
easy to keep the hands steady.

Gorgeous, breathtaking captures and what a glorious way to end a day -- any day!! A pumpkin moon indeed! Thanks for sharing these, Arija, they are awesome!!
ReplyDeleteMagic. And my hands do a kind of St Vitus dance too - to much less beautiful effect than yours.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Keep on getting those shots and sharing them.

ReplyDeleteThat's a shot to which blur lends itself exceedingly well! Photographic error is only in the eye of the pedantic!!
ReplyDeleteI think the shaky camera give these a beautiful, artistic look. Love the colors, too!

I have seen an orange tangerine moon but a golden pumpkin moon is the first to me. With such a zooming, you can’t keep your hands steady especially when you’re so excited.
ReplyDeleteWish you a peaceful Christmas and a healthy New Year, arija.
