My tulips this season were a great joy to me, they had multiplied
and were thick on the ground
the gold made a great contrast to the different reds
they were a pleasing deep cup shape
a clump of crazy fringed reds were attractive to the bees
brave enough to venture out in the cold and rain
a few primulas as leavening to all those tulips
and looking into the sugar frosting glowing in the heart of
a red, red tulip

Gorgeous flowers and colors and wonderful captures!! Thank you for brightening my evening, Arija!! Just the beauty I love to see!! Hope your weekend is going well!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. It seems to have been a good year for tulips - always a good thing. And I love the colours and shapes so very much.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful show of tulips, and a great "inside" macro!
ReplyDeleteOne of the many joys of being a blogger is seeing two seasons at once!!! These are beautiful Arija! Thanks for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro:-)
ReplyDeleteThose fringed tulips are simply amazing. And the macro is wonderful ... exactly what a macro is supposed to be (and what I have trouble catching)...thanks for doing this for us...and the fields of tulips, too, are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy patch of colors.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tulips photos, Arija!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, RW & SK

ReplyDeleteStunning! - they surely would lift the spirit.
ReplyDeleteHi Arija Wonderful collection of Tulips you had but the last shots of the close up is stunning.
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy to look at here in the UK on a cold, damp day Arija.
ReplyDeleteGarden delights indeed. Thank you for releasing them into a particularly gloomy UK morning.
ReplyDeleteYour tulips are really wonderful. Here in Germany, it is cold and grey now. So you really enlighten my day with these beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Christiane

ReplyDeleteYour tulips are gorgeous. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteStunning flowers !
ReplyDeleteMagnificent pictures.
ReplyDeleteWonderful spring flowers, just the thing to perk up the rather dreary look out our windows. We'd normally be looking at a blanket of snow, but we're been having warm weather instead and so there's not much color outside right now.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying your spring, Arija - love those reds!
ReplyDeleteHi Arija, they are all beautiful but i love most that stigma at the end. I like the style of looking at the bigness then going within! The answers are all found within.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful garden. What beautiful flowers and gorgeous colours!
ReplyDeleteLove the tulips!! Nice garden, love all the color.
