Hallo friends all, it's been a long time since I posted.

Fate took a hand and stuck a spoke in my wheel and followed it
up with letting down my tyres as well.

Not only was my internet down until a few days ago but I also
found that severe pain was not conducive to posting anything
filled with sweetness and light.

Here are a few tulips I planted this winter, that added a little cheer
through this rather tough time.

A few more on the other side of the carport

and a pot full that looked rather splendid.

I have just one more clump to surprise me with their colour.

I sincerely hope you have all been well in my absence and will
endeavour to visit as many as I can in the coming weeks while
I am still getting over this and that.

  1. Tulips are the quintessential spring flower!! And so beautiful!
I love the flowers in the next post, too!! I think my favourite shot is the weeping cherries at the door of the house!!

  2. Your colorful tulips are such a spring delight. Sure hope your tires are full of air and you'll soon be rolling down the blogger's road.

I've met many delightful Aussies here in the last few weeks. All making me want to come visit even more.

    Take care sweet lady.

  3. How lovely to see spring's lovely flowers just as ours are all turning brown headed into the winter. Hope you and yours are doing much better soon.

  4. I'm so sorry to hear things haven't been going well for you health wise, but I'm delighted to see you online today, Arija! Your flowers are absolutely gorgeous and such glorious colors!! Thank you so much for sharing. I'll be holding good thoughts for you and hope you'll be doing much better and soon!!

  5. Beautiful tulips.

    Thank you for your participation.

  6. i am sorry, arija! these certainly lifted my day, so i hope they lifted yours in sharing them. :)

  7. Your tulips cheer up the day, Arija. It's so nice to see big colorful blooms when it is overcast and rainy here.
Hope you are back to stay and you are coming back to good health. We all miss you when you are gone!

  8. Oh Arija, it's good to see you again. Sorry you've had such a hard time. I hope your pain is abating a little. Your tulips are stunning and certainly cheered me up. Thanks for sharing. Bless you dearest friend. (((Hugs))) Jo

  9. The tulips are so beautiful! I'm sorry about your pain and your problems. I hope by now that things are getting better. Will pray for you. Love and hugs from here.

  10. The tulips are so beautiful and definitely a thing of joy. i do hope you are getting back to health and that the road will smooth out for you.

  11. Dear Arija, I hope your health begins to improve so you can once again wander with your camera. Your tulips are glorious. What color! My world turned white this weekend so I'm especially enjoying yours.

  12. Even more so than the tulips, it is beautiful just to see you back again! I have missed you.
and hope you continue to feel better.

  13. They are simply beautiful and a testament to a lot of hard work. I so hope that your health improves. I understand all too well that pain does not leave a person in the 'nicest' frame of mind. Pyscho b-ch from hell is a more accurate description of me in those bad, bad times.

  14. I am so sorry you haven't been well! Love your tulips. Hope things are better (and glad you got your computer back!)

  15. Nice to read you again Arija - do hope things begin to improve for you. It is lovely as we go intoAutumn here to see all your lovely tulips in flower.

  16. I do love tulips. My husband would always send them to me.

My heart sinks hearing about these latest bumps in your road. Gigantic armfuls of love and hope are being sent your way.

  17. I loved seeing your colourful tulips (a big job to plant all those!) and so glad that you are back posting. Hope you continue to feel better Arija.

  18. Dearest Arija, I am happy to see a post from you. Also love to see the colors. I agree with you about posting. It is such a comfort to see something from you. I hope you keep your rest and strength. Blessings!

  21. Arija, while the flowers are beautiful I am so sorry that things have been so rough for you lately! I do hope that you get relief from your pain soon and that you find more reasons to smile! Sending hugs! I am still adjusting to life in AZ once again and missing my mom back east!

  22. I am sorry to hear that you were experiencing pain! no fun at all.
