I took these photos some time ago, when we were in
the high country of Victoria.
On the way up to Mt.Buffalo, this pile of rock - no idea what
the mountain was called - caught my eye.
On the way back from the climb to the summit, clouds were
rolling in at a great rate.
They rolled in at such a rate that within a few minutes,
the whole pile vanished
only to reappear a moment later.
Ah, the vagaries of weather.
If only life were like that and could restore
which had been wiped out.

ReplyDeleteThis is a cool series of shots Arija. Hope all is well with you. I haven't heard from you, and I get concerned. Things here aren't much different. One day at a time.

ReplyDeleteWonderful series of photos, Arija! I love the mysterious fog! Hope you have a good week and that things are going well.
ReplyDeleteThe in and out of clouds makes for a beauty not seen by all. If only life could be the same. Take care.
ReplyDeleteIf only indeed Arinja. Lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteAmazing pictures. Stay well my friend.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - glad you escaped that cloud cover. Your photos certainly capture how quickly that can happen in mountainous terrains here. Hope you are keeping well Arija and have a good week.
ReplyDeletebeautiful Arija!!!! I so love mist and the mystery of it rising. I hope you will join me for the gratitude quilt this year... information about this project can be found at the top of my blog.
ReplyDeleteThat is really spectacular, and can really be dangerous to us. The good thing there in your continent is the lack of volcanoes. If it were here, we can surely assume that the mountain is a volcano even if it is dormant.
ReplyDeleteI so so love the magic of clouds as they shroud the sky. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSo full with mystery and intrigue! Love these mist clouds moving!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful images of the mountain emerging from the mist.

ReplyDeleteGreat series of photos.. Thanks
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful Arija...they sort of reminded me of our time in Arches, with the fog rising. Have a happy evening and day coming forth, hoping all is well in your world~ Hugs

I would love that too Arija! (I meant wishing I could restore what's been wiped out, but I would love to see the mountain too!)
