Hooray!! We have been blessed with 6" of rain over two days,
more than we got in winter in one event!
My heart sings and the garden got it just in the nick of time to
revive the trees and shrubs that were giving up and had lost most
of their leaves.
Now, with hope in my heart, I look back at some wonders in my
garden last spring and forward to those to come next spring.
masses of tulips with primulas and wallflowers at back
clumps of crazy fringed tulips
looking like carnivorous plants
masses of bright nasturtiums
and just because I can and because my camera shared my bed that
night, an early morning shot at waking, yep, a real pillow shot,
luckily the kangaroo was OUTside my garden fence.
Hope you all have a great day wherever you are!

Well now, if THAT critter was the view from my window upon waking, I'd know I was still dreaming for sure!
ReplyDeleteWe too got some blessed life giving rain yesterday and today. My heart is still singing as the garden drinks deep. I have lost things in the heat (rather a lot of things) but the rain will restore others.
ReplyDeleteI have got to the stage I am NEVER sorry to see the rain. And love your spring reminders and dreams for the future. Thank you.
I love tulips and the fringed edges are wonderful. I'm so glad you finally got some rain. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteFlowers and kangaroo ouside the fence.
ReplyDeleteA happy moment :)
All the best.

Hello, arija, nice to know about the blessed rain. I know how dreadful it is to have little or no rain during the intense heat, but these flowers made me forget about it and filled my heart with the promise of spring.
ReplyDeleteMy heart also sang with the present from the heaven in Nara City.

I'll keep praying for more rain for you! LOVE the kangaroo… I guess for you that is like us seeing deer in the woods behind our house. Beautiful spring flowers… I look forward to them pushing their way up through the soil here once the snow finally melts. Thanks for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro:-)
