SkyWatch ~ Fog

Wake up in the morning, look out the window and see . . .
nothing???
Well, nothing but the closest roses to my window.

At least the fog camouflages most of the weeds . . .

You can hardly see to the end of the house . . .

whatever happened to my view?

The fence has faded . . .

so have the roses on the fence-line

the roses have disappeared on the arch and the paddock
beyond is just a blur.

Oh well, at least it's good for the plants to soak up all that moisture.

Happy SkyWatching everyone!

  2. I have to agree with Gaelyn, your roses are gorgeous even in the fog and I love all the greenery! Of course, gray and foggy skies look like mine do most of the time these days! Hope you have a good weekend, Arija!

  11. Soon this is what my world will look like. Starting sometime in December I can count on six weeks of low clouds and fog.

  12. Fog as weed camouflage--I'll have to remember that!

Imagine a world with no sky—
Through what would the geese and crows fly?
    And where would bears go
    If there were no snow
Falling to earth from on high?

  18. Hi there - nice to see a solid sky for a change! None of the big open blue stuff - a nice mass of grey!

    Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne.

PS: Did my Johanna post encourage you to push your accommodation budget a bit? ;)

  24. I can't help it. I love the fog. Little treasures that gradually come into focus like your roses are like flecks of gold in a white mine.

    Your stove photo is gorgeous!

  26. Oh the fog adds such a sweetness to these images, such a delicate veil of happiness to comfort those thirsty plants. The beauty of the roses, the yard so transported into a beauty that great sun light changes as quick as a whisper...lovely~
