Didn't know how else to tell you that I loved your post on my blog about the rainwater. Wow...huge water holding tanks. Some folks around here have 1000 gallon tanks for storage of water from a low yielding well, but yours far outweighs that. With the weather patterns the way they are we have not had the rains we normally have, however, I sometimes feel our rain barrels are inadequate as a big rain (such as we just had from tropical storm Fay) fills them quickly and the rest is simply wasted. As my gardens and my need for watering increases I'm working on ways to capture more of the rain. The condensation idea worked because we had not had rain for over 3 weeks and my rain barells were empty. I love that you have been able to live on rainwater. I think your idea is a good one even for the cities around here. Of course, I also think solar power should be used more often and our dependence on oil must be ended...but I'm not seeing that happend anytime soon. Anyway, sorry for the long post..just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your posts.
These are fantastic shots!!! I love the colors in the sunrise reflected in the pond, and the background is awesome... a little walkway or bridge... precious, and I certainly love the cumulus... :O)
Great photos. I especially like the one of the sunrise reflection in the pond. We have had clouds build up too but still not rain - maybe this week-end!
arija, wonderful pictures again. How do you do it? What magic is afoot? I hope you don't mind but I've given you an 'I love your Blog'award. It's at my place if you'd like to pick it up. Blessings to you.
If you did enable the "feeds" option in settings, it would be easier to know when you update your blog. These are beautiful and somehow restful photos. I needed that today..
These are exceptional! I love the reflection in the first one - amazing. The clouds in the second are my favourite kind and this landscape is beautiful.
Thanks for coming by my bridges post and leaving such lovely, lovely comments.
I'm sorry, I found the "feed". My mistake. My day..just a another rainy day of which we have had too many and a parent who has now become more of the child than the parent...the usual stuff...Thank you for asking. It was very sweet of you..
