A few weeks ago, my eldest granddaughter came home
from our agricultural show with a tiny piglet.
Hear soft heart turned over seeing these motherless babies
so we are once more saddled with a pet.
Beside her two dogs, cat, ram lamb, three goat kids
and horses of course,
A week later, little Kowhai is already drinking from a bowl
while Boston looks on
and cleans up the spills
ah, that was good but even a piglet is full
when a piglet is full!
Bet you think my manners leave something to be desired,
I'm a PIG not a debutante!
That's that, now for some more work in the garden.
Now show us your world!
Oh my gosh, he is adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteAh you do have a delightful world and what a cute little guy he is! Such a fun post and photos for the day, Arija!!
ReplyDeleteADORABLE! i'd have melted, too.
ReplyDeleteHi Arija... Piglet is a cutie!! I have chased many a piglet that got out of the pen in my younger years.. ; )

Cute, in capitals! :-)
ReplyDeleteVery cute photos of the piglet.
ReplyDeleteO these photos are wonderful! I think my favourite is the second last photo of a milk spattered face!
ReplyDeleteThat's got to be the cutest pig I've ever seen. Love it's stripes.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you will never have a dull moment.
ReplyDeleteWhat's one more, especially one so cute? Good luck on teaching the piglet manners!
ReplyDeleteOh my word, what a sweet pig! It's markings are just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAh! so nice to have a new baby in your world! Indeed the piglet is cute!

A guard pig! Sounds like a good thing to have!
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
It looks so cute at the moment. I wonder how long that will last!
ReplyDeleteCute little piglet! Love his markings!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! It seems Boston doesn't mind sharing its bowl. :-)
ReplyDeletePigs are very intelligent and can be trained to do all kinds of things, including guarding the yard. It almost looks as if Boston has adopted the little guy for now, so he may grow up to think he's a dog.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this post.
Thanks!
K
