A little rain and viola! the countryside turns gold.
I mean it, really gold.
As you can see, we are very near a grape growing district.
These were taken near Woodside on my usual route to town.
Whatever is going on in your neck of the woods,
make sure you enjoy it.
Those golden fields are very beautiful.ReplyDelete
Fantastisch liebe Arija...ReplyDelete

Gorgeous golden landscape!ReplyDelete
For a moment, I was stumped, the vineyards around here look so different this time of the year. Then it came to me, you are heading into autumn. ;-)
so gorgeous! hooray for rain!ReplyDelete
Beautiful, golden fields and terrific captures for the day as always, Arija!! Hope you have a great week!! Thank you so much for your kind thoughts regarding Sam, they're much appreciated!!ReplyDelete
They are a beautiful golden colour. Such joyful pictures for sharing this week.ReplyDelete
I too was thrown by why there is gold - though still don't understand why things turn gold when it rains. Whatever the reason - it's a lovely colour and a lovely landscape.ReplyDelete
After the long dry, we were afraid the leaves would fall before they had a chance to develop colour.Delete
It looks so pretty in shades of gold.ReplyDelete
Beautiful shots Arija.ReplyDelete
Arija, the gold fields are beautiful. What a sight to see, it must be lovely in person. Like Tex says, horray for the rain! Beautiful photos.ReplyDelete
What beautiful golden fields! Well captured. Visiting from OWT. :)ReplyDelete
Rain brings out the gold, alright. Hope you get enough rain to keep things healthy.ReplyDelete
Beautiful golden color. So glad you got some rain.ReplyDelete
Blessed rain. A little here today too. Not much, but very welcome. Gorgeous golden fields - thank you.ReplyDelete

what gorgeous views you have! fields of gold, indeed.ReplyDelete
Vineyards are really a delight to see!ReplyDelete
Beautiful! Hurray for the rain! I hope you get enough to have the trees and fields in good shape for winter. We had some rain and a little warmth and some of our bushes burst out with color (grass got real high while we were away for the weekend). I put some pictures on Lew's pics. Some of our bushes are not doing so well and we will be looking for new ones soon.ReplyDelete
Beautiful, the second pic looks like a carpet...ReplyDelete
vineyards? we are only an hour or so from the south west corner vineyard areas. So beautiful to drive through any time of year.ReplyDelete
Have a wonderful week and thank yo for stopping by my blog last week - we have been away trecking and only just back - so catching up!
herrlich leuchtende farben - really golden :)ReplyDelete
Beautiful colours!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.ReplyDelete
Pure gold for sure! Vineyards are so lovely to look at. Around where we live in Oregon there are many and we love touring them. (And of course once you're there for the scenery, you might as well try the product!)ReplyDelete
Happy for your rain.
So beautiful Autumn colours . you're right, that's really gold!!ReplyDelete
love you images.
wow, that´s a very beautiful country. Love it.ReplyDelete
Pretty, pretty colors Arija. Our goldenrod is just that very color, but will remimd me that winter isn't too far off when they are in bloom.ReplyDelete
Lovely! These remind me of the mustard fields in Rajasthan.ReplyDelete
I am familiar with those scenes as that is not far from my childhood home. Makes me homesick a little.ReplyDelete
