A little rain and viola! the countryside turns gold.
I mean it, really gold.
As you can see, we are very near a grape growing district.
These were taken near Woodside on my usual route to town.
Whatever is going on in your neck of the woods,
make sure you enjoy it.
Those golden fields are very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFantastisch liebe Arija...

ReplyDeleteFor a moment, I was stumped, the vineyards around here look so different this time of the year. Then it came to me, you are heading into autumn. ;-)
Big hug,

ReplyDeleteThey are a beautiful golden colour. Such joyful pictures for sharing this week.
ReplyDeleteI too was thrown by why there is gold - though still don't understand why things turn gold when it rains. Whatever the reason - it's a lovely colour and a lovely landscape.
ReplyDeleteAfter the long dry, we were afraid the leaves would fall before they had a chance to develop colour.
DeleteIt looks so pretty in shades of gold.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots Arija.

ReplyDeleteVineyards are really a delight to see!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Hurray for the rain! I hope you get enough to have the trees and fields in good shape for winter. We had some rain and a little warmth and some of our bushes burst out with color (grass got real high while we were away for the weekend). I put some pictures on Lew's pics. Some of our bushes are not doing so well and we will be looking for new ones soon.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, the second pic looks like a carpet...
ReplyDeletevineyards? we are only an hour or so from the south west corner vineyard areas. So beautiful to drive through any time of year.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week and thank yo for stopping by my blog last week - we have been away trecking and only just back - so catching up!
herrlich leuchtende farben - really golden :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeletePure gold for sure! Vineyards are so lovely to look at. Around where we live in Oregon there are many and we love touring them. (And of course once you're there for the scenery, you might as well try the product!)
ReplyDeleteHappy for your rain.

ReplyDeletePretty, pretty colors Arija. Our goldenrod is just that very color, but will remimd me that winter isn't too far off when they are in bloom.
ReplyDeleteLovely! These remind me of the mustard fields in Rajasthan.
ReplyDeleteI am familiar with those scenes as that is not far from my childhood home. Makes me homesick a little.
