To look at this, you would think there is nothing
much going on in the sky
just turn your head a little and the picture is entirely different.
Although it looked great, that is all it did.
The Earth is my mother, the World my home, where e're I go delights await me.
Hehehe! That is all it did. I have to admit, I had my head buried in the sand at work and even worse, I cannot get over this illness I have - awful awful URI. I have not noticed the sky, nor the trees, nor...I need to go out this weekend. Have a lovely weekend dearest Arija! Tsup!
ReplyDeleteCes dear, what is it that troubles you dear heart? I too need to get OUT!
DeleteI am well now. I have been very sick, I was bedridden with a terrible flu at the end of flu season. My vaccine did not work. I am well. Thank you. I love you! Tsup!
Deleteso beautiful!!! have a lovely weekend:-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura, and you too.
Broken promises, but beautiful skies.
ReplyDeleteOur clouds need to talk to your clouds. Ours know all too well how to let their precious cargo fall at the drop of a hat! ;-)
Wouldn't it be wonderful to simply say "give me your rain, I'll give you my sunshine"? Unfortunately, life is not as easy as that.
DeleteIf only we could pick up someone else's burden for a day, a week or a month and let them have a rest . . .
Busy, beautiful skies and terrific captures as always, Arija!! Love that BLUE and the clouds are awesome! Hope you have a lovely weekend! Enjoy!
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeletethis is so cool !
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend !
I like the watercolor effect on the first sky. Looks like you had a storm brewing. Hope you feel well Arija.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Barb, it was only a ruse to make us hope.
DeleteWhat an amazing difference indeed!
ReplyDeleteA pretty show is better than no show at all.
ReplyDeleteZou wanna bet?
Deletethe second pic is really really lovely... !!!! btw that stove in the header... do you really own one like that ?
ReplyDeleteI wish! We cooked on it at the shearer's quarters at Wirrealpa Station in the wilds of inland South Australia. Google Wirrealpa and have a look.
ReplyDeleteAlways like to look at the sky, always different and beautiful. Yes your header is great, the fire is going the soup is ready soon! I had one like it in the old farmhouse, a tea kettle like this was there too...I wonder where they went?
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, T.
Probably hid themselves among the single socks. They'd be worth a mint today.
DeleteOh my - both of those photos are stunning. I am always fascinated by the very different view of the sky you can get by just shifting your viewpoint. Often it looks as if the shots are taken on different days, or different places.
ReplyDeleteHave you had ANY rain yet? We are still being promised rain - but it hasn't yet happened.
We had 10 mm in the space of three days about 10 days ago and then some hot and very windy days, like today and it has all gone back up into the atmosphere.
DeleteLove when the sky is filled with these huge billowy white clouds--almost like they could cover the ground.
ReplyDeleteThose sky pictures are amazing. I just love that kind of sky.
ReplyDeleteLooks stunning to me! Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteI like to look up at the blue sky with flowing and ever-changing formation of clouds, where I think the simple truth of life exists. I feel as if the coluds falling down in the second image.
ReplyDeleteYoko
You still need rain! But how beautiful the sky was even in its 'do-nothingness.'
