Third and final instalment of the sunrise I have posted over
a few weeks. I promise this is the last one.
They look better enlarged.
Somehow these delicious colours remind me of Turner's paintings.
although the mixture of tints is just something a human
cannot possibly achieve.
The colours muted into shades of magenta/purple
That little cloud was still there, getting whiter by the second
the sun was only thinking of getting up, but the first bird was
already on it's way.
To the south, the colours were fading and I finally gave up
and went back to bed.
Keep posting those skies, we all enjoy them.
Mesmerizing sunrise Arija. How could you go back to sleep after that?ReplyDelete
With skies as beautiful, as colorful, as dramatic as these have been, you can continue to show them every week! They are awesome and your photos are superb!! Thank you, Arija, for your kind words and thoughts! They are so appreciated as always. I will write you more this weekend.ReplyDelete
What magnificent skies! I loved your story about your parrot and your dog.ReplyDelete
I don't think you need to apologise for continuing to post these amazingly coloured shots!! And I'm not alone in that, either!!ReplyDelete
Oh so beautiful, Arija. I was out in the garden with the three cats this morning, and captured the most beautiful pinks and mauves for my skywatch photos tomorrow. Thanks for the tips and encouragements with my pottery. I love this craft! (((Hugs))) JoReplyDelete
Those first two shots especially look like paintings. And now I understand about you catching sunrise, you then return to bed. ;)ReplyDelete
It is the sort of sunrise that if I saw a painting I would sniff and say 'exaggerated'. Which is so unfair of me, because I know the incredible displays that the sky can put on.ReplyDelete
Beautiful suffusion of light. I love that early bird too.ReplyDelete
it is just gorgeous. 'red sky in morning, sailor take warning!'ReplyDelete
What a stunning overload!ReplyDelete
Oh, you live in paradise ! I'd love to wake up and see a sky like that !

You are the best at getting pink skies! Amazing!ReplyDelete
I can see why you thought of Turner with these skies.ReplyDelete
As I as sent to Perth by work I think I am morally obliged to get the most out of it!! And it surprising what you can do in the ten minutes before work and lunch times!

Wow...what great color! So pink!ReplyDelete
Wowee those are gorgeous - just amazing captures! Well done! You're right, they do look like paintings, and that's just why I like photography so much. I could never dream up that amazing mix of colors myself :)ReplyDelete
